Tuition

We offer one hour group lessons with a maximum of six participants for either adults or children. These groups are carefully organised to ensure everyone is of a similar age, ability and ambition. Each group is assigned its own and most suited instructor.

Alternatively we can provide private lessons of forty-five minutes duration with your own Coach targeting specific goals and at a pace of your choosing. Semi-private tuition is also available for those who specifically wish to ride together.

Hacking

For our youngest age group - four year olds, we recommend stimulating one-to-one lead rein hacks of half an hour around the adjoining woods and farmland.

For older children and adults there is a choice of hacking out on your own with your instructor or in small groups over the scenic South Downs for up to two hours.

Extra Curricular Activities

For both children and adults we hold a variety of mounted activities, social events, competitions and more serious training clinics throughout the year. We also have a highly regarded reputation for successfully providing training for all of the British Horse Society examinations.

There are two classifications of membership at Lavant House Stables, our own Members' Club which is for everyone and Lavant House Pony Club for our youngsters.
