We are an official Pony Club Branch which is primarily for non-pony owning youngsters who borrow a pony from us in order to participate – but those that are lucky enough to have their own are welcome to join in too! We split our Pony Club activities into Junior (12 years and under) and Senior (13 to 21 years old) sections to ensure our teenagers have a stepping stone between the Pony Club and Riding Club activities.

Throughout the year we hold an exciting variety of rallies, competitions and Camps as well as our highly popular annual Pony Club Show. We also aim our Pony Club Members towards the internationally recognised Pony Club Tests - possibly proving to be the very first official qualification your child will achieve to put on his or her future CV!

As Lavant House Pony Club is one of the largest and most active Centres in the UK, we are often used as a role model resulting in our children regularly appearing in the nationally distributed Pony Club magazine!

Dress for all Pony Club Competitions should be a white long-sleeved shirt with the Pony Club tie and badge. These should ideally be worn with beige jodhpurs and jodhpur boots. The dress code for Rallies should either be the Lavant House Stables sweatshirt or polo shirt, or alternatively the Pony Club sweatshirt with jodhpurs and jodhpur boots.

Rally days are organized to assist the children in working towards their next level of Pony Club Test and/or Pony Club Achievement Badges. The Pony Club encourages children to take tests which enables them to progressively learn about pony care and riding and are internationally recognized. If you require further advice, please do discuss your child's requirements with their regular instructor.
