Cancelling Individual Lessons

Please ALWAYS let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make your reserved lesson – even if this has to be at the last minute.

We know it is impossible to attend every lesson which is why there is a healthy 30% discount against non-member prices as an allowance against missed lessons. However, providing we receive a minimum of 24 HOURS notice, with Group Membership we will always do our best (but cannot promise as this is subject to other members' canceling) to find a replacement session of the same type within SIX days either side of the cancelled reservation up to a maximum of SIX replacement sessions per year. With Private Membership providing again we receive a minimum of 24 hours notice, we will always replace your cancelled session proviso this can be organised within one month of the cancelled lesson.

Please note it is not possible to REFUND, ACCRUE OR OFFSET the value of missed sessions against another service, nor is membership transferable to another person.

As horse riding is an outdoor activity we continue in all weathers. During extreme weather conditions when it may be unsafe or uncomfortable to ride outside, we supply interesting, practical on-the ground sessions as an alternative.

Cancelling Activities

Deposit refunds will be given for cancelled activities if the space is then filled by a replacement, therefore the earliest notice of cancellation will ensure the best opportunity to fulfil this aim.

Cancelling Membership

If you need to permanently cancel your membership we do require four weeks notice in writing.
Lavant House Stables reserves the right to refuse or cancel individual membership at any time.
