Dear Daisy was an unusual one for us. When she arrived from Ireland we thought: too young for our little riders and certainly unacceptably thin. Yet from Day 1 Daisy belonged with us, proving a gentle, kind little mare who delights every small person who rides her because she, well, just belongs and always does her best to please.

Eddie belongs to Lucy's daughter Amelia (otherwise known as Mills) and is the coolest pony ever, being known as "Eddie Cool". Everyone wants to ride Eddie as he is such bouncy fun and jumps absolutely everything and anything.
Phoebe and Eddie have become the stars of the Goodwood Pony Club teams and because of their competitive commitments Eddie is now an “Elite” livery, which means he will only be exercised via the riding school when Phoebe is unable to ride.

We were privileged to be offered Eric who came from a highly renowned Showing and Driving yard having been outgrown by the grandchildren. Eric has the most wonderful, even canter so is perfect for introducing our smallest children to this exciting and faster pace!

Characteristics
When our second donkey Diesel arrived from Wales in 2008, Gatsby unexpectedly came too and remained with us because we were impressed at how sensibly this young pony behaved on his arrival.
It didn’t take us long to discover why both donkey and pony were for sale – both of them proved to be expert escape artists from their fields!
In 2009 Gatsby was introduced to the riding school – it is not normally our policy to have four year olds doing this type of job, but Gatsby has proven already to be mature enough and like most Welsh ponies, needs constant entertainment and activity to keep him at his happiest!

Squirrel is a very good-looking pony that could just as easily be a show pony as a riding school one.
He spent the first part of his life as a driving pony but was found not to be speedy enough so consequently settled down with us as his new home. A very sweet pony who is quick to learn, he is definitely a welcome addition to our team, although keeping his waist-line trim is proving rather tricky as Squirrel does love his food!
